I'm almost finished with this one and have already ordered another kit. I'm obsessed, it has been so fun to make (though my fingers are killing me). The PDF and the video were easy to follow along with and I learned new sewing techniques. The quality of the material is great, it's real leather like promised and has made my room smell like heaven (leather) for the last few days (such a great smell) I have a feeling I'll be buying more of these but probably through sewingjoy's website because they have designs on there that they don't have here. My one complaint is that the green leather is almost TOO gorgeous and it makes me mad I can't get more bags in this green. It's my favorite color and it's stunning.
This is the 4th product I but from Powering and by far my favorite. Bag is very sturdy and the material feels high quality and every single material is provided, down to the scissors!. I would not say this is a beginner-friendly project, but if you have done other bags and have the basics this is a great upgrade. Will definitely buy again from this store.
Wanted a bag for my sisters vacation and came across this DIY and thank god i got it. It took me 4 hrs to finish but it was worth it. Looks super beautiful and decent size.
This bag is so fun to put together. The pieces are really well made and fit together perfectly! It's a fun project and at the end you get a beautiful bag!
This kit contained everything needed to produce a high quality and attractive mini handle tote. Leather feels nice, though likely mid to low grade leather beneath the processed finish that gives the pebbled texture and feel that is desirable.In the end she is functional, attractive and comfortable to carry.I recommend for a beginner that wants to try their hand at hand stitching a leather bag.
